How To Update Your Crowd Compass

Step 1: Download the Crowd Compass Companion app. (Be sure to keep your mobile app up to date to get access to all the latest features!)
Step 2: Power on your Crowd Compass
Step 3: Open the mobile app to the Bluetooth page. Press “Scan for Devices” and select your Crowd Compass from the list. Wait for it to finish connecting.

Step 4: You should see a pop-up asking if you want to update your compass to the latest version. Click “Update”. If you don’t see this pop-up, you can access the “Firmware Updates” page by navigating to the “Settings” tab. 

Step 5: Press “Start Update”.

The firmware update should take approximately 3 minutes, but may take up to 10. If it is taking much longer, or is unsuccessful, restart your Crowd Compass and the mobile app and try again! (It is safe to restart your compass even if it says “do not turn off”).
